This property was good— for a La Quinta. But for it to be rated by others as “9 Stars— Wonderful!” is a disservice. I expected/hoped to be surprised by a uniquely great experience, but wasn’t.

Hyatt Regency Birmingham-The Wynfrey Hotel
Horrible checkin process….some problem with housekeeping, but no one was able to be checked in at 4…..huge pile up of ppl trying to get to a concert…..very frustrating plus no manager to assist…..

Embassy Suites Hotel Birmingham
Rooms are big with a bedroom separate from the sitting living room which is really nice. Breakfast with the omelette station included is wonderful. There is a ruth chris in the hotel which we love to eat at. I think the convenience store should have more selections. Front desk staff was so nice. ...

For someone who travels a lot, this property scores low for me. The room was poorly cleaned. Upon arrival, the floors in the room were sticky, the towels had hair on them ( long hair, short hair, just gross) and the bed sheets that should have be fresh linen, had black lent between the sheets.
