”Als Geschäftsreisender auf der Durchreise war es in Ordnung. Das Hotel ist auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war frisch gemacht und sehr lecker”

”Lovely hotel in the centre of Taunton. We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the third floor with a nice view of the town. The hotel is an older building with lots of historic details / decor so it has a nice vibe. Daily room service kept everything clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing: steps from the high street shops, cafes and pubs - you can't beat it. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next time were in Taunton.”

”Just ok”

”Oikein mukava ja sympaattinen hotelli. Ainoa miinus on ehkä, että piti ylittää ,melko vilkas liikenteinen katu ja suojatie on jonkin matkan päässä. Mutta oikein kiva hotelli.”

”Great location and wonderful quirky property”

”Very friendly owners, liked the history of the house.”

”Great location lovely surroundings and very friendly and welcoming host”

”What a beautiful hotel. I stayed in a superior double which was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and excellent tea and coffee, biscuits and water. The owners were very friendly and made me feel most welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. You would never go hungry. The air conditioning was a real bonus, although unfortunately it did drip a little water on the floor. My only other niggles...

”Wonderful period property, all modern conveniences, comfortable beds, luxury bedding, spotlessly clean. Situated just off the high street with secure on site parking, and within walking distance of various eating establishments. Website is easy to use, and informative, covers everything you need to know about the property and local area. Jamie & Gary are fabulous hosts. Highly recommend this establishment.”

”Lovely setting. Very friendly staff. Food was fantastic. Would stay again.”

”While the stay was just ok, I was disappointed with the support from the hotel team in getting good wifi in room 20. The mobile network was patchy in this place, and on top of that, the wifi in the room was on and off. It disrupted my planned work. Reporting this to the staff did not help. This place would be my last choice next time.”

”So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!”

”Excellent property….vey well managed, beautifully presented, very clean and functional. Staff were extraordinary with a particular shout out to Mel who went above and beyond to make us welcome and is a beautiful cook as well. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property. 5 stars is not enough.”

”On arrival the reception was awful with staff unable to access records but their attitude was very off hand towards us. The room was clean but badly set up. For instance, the double bed was only accessible from one side; there was nowhere for storage of cases etc. and the only area to hang clothes was a row of five hooks, three of which overhung the box on which the kettle and cups etc. were kept; the shower cubicle was missing one of its two doors; the sink in the toilet was so restricted by a...

”Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all.”

”A great find. Lovely country pub with unique stable block accommodation. Big rooms. The food at dinner was amazing. The Caribbean choices were outstanding. Buddy and Kate are very attentive and friendly. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely return.”

”Very clean and new”
