Public transit and taxis are hard to come by, so car hire is recommended. The staff were attentive and kind, the hotel itself is gorgeous, and they have the most beautiful walking trails into the nearby town of Maynooth. We had an early flight with our young children in the morning, and the staff prepared breakfast to go for the car. Every detail was on point. Would recommend and stay at the Carton House again!”

"We stayed two nights in this hotel, in the beginning and in the end of our vacation. The most recent night was less nice than the first one. The room was cold, the temperature had been set to 16 degrees. The service in the restaurant was below standard, or they didn't care how long the customer needs to wait for service. The restaurant was nearly empty and we waited more than 30mins to get our order in. Also checking in was really slow and hotel offers only 15min free of parking. No chance to get checked in and drop you luggage into your room in that time limit."
"Easy self check-in. The location is quiet and convenient, while not neccessarily the most eye pleaskng. Plenty of restaurants and pubs close by. We walked everywhere during our stay. Also, the bus stop that goes to the airport is a 5 minute walk from the hotel."
