”What a DISAPPOINTMENT! When we first arrived, we asked why doesn’t our room have a fireplace? The front desk clerk kept insisting our room had a fireplace and it was right underneath the television. We finally asked her to come to our room and show us. So, she goes to our room. Notices there is no fireplace. ”Cozy, always super clean, short drive away to downtown Monterey, close to the freeway going to Carmel, there's a mall across the street in case you need anything.”

”Excellent stay! The location was perfect. The hotel was very clean, it smelled great at all times, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The fresh orchids were a beautiful touch, loved the extra-large towels. Would definitely stay here again.”

”The front desk staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. This encourages us to visit again. Our room and all facilities including the hot tub were clean and comfortable. Parking near our room was easy. The surrounding residential neighborhood was quiet and appeared to be safe. The beach is a 5-minutes walk from the lodge. ”Quick and easy check in and check out, with pleasant staff! It’s a simple inn with locks and keys. The room is a bit small but it’s a quick drive to all the nice places in Monterey. Seems a bit on the older end but it was fine for what my friends and I were there for. I would stay here again and recommend it”
