”The property definitely did not meet up to the representation on the VRBO website.We are a family who has been returning to Graeagle for over 70 years. And have rented many homes in that area. The house was filthy. The deck was filled with cobwebs, Pineneedles and broken decking. The bathrooms were filthy. The master bathroom shower was full of mold, mushrooms growing out of the woodwork. ”The rooms are clean nicely decorated. I had a room on the bottom floor with sliding glass doors onto a small patio that overlooked part of the golf course. I was there in March so some of the amenities were not open and available. The club house with the restaurant, pool, gym, movie theater, steam room, a rock climbing wall, a huge game room with a shuffle board and pool table were all open and available. It is worth the stay! I will definitely be back ”

”I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.”
