We found many lights did not work or have bulbs. Master bath -my husband vacuumed loose sawdust in vent, to prevent fire. Poor maintenance outside.Home is tired. Clean linens. Plug shorted on light when we tried to use it. Offensive odor from chemical used in toilets.

The house is in a nice location, mostly clean and comfortable. Nice views of the canyon walls. Easy to find. The kitchen is nicely stocked with cooking utensils. Dish TV service with basic channels only. A very nice living room TV. HOWEVER, the listing showed WiFi as a basic amenity and THERE WAS NO WiFi SERVICE. DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT IF YOU NEED INTERNET. Cell service is good for Verizon and almost non-existent for T-Moble. The owner waited until 20 minutes before we took possession of the home before he mentioned that there was no internet service. We were VERY disappointed. Two of our guests needed internet service to execute trades in their investment accounts and move funds in their bank accounts. To say the least, they were not happy. The San Juan river area is a popular destination in the fall and early spring. Reservations MUST be made well in advance of a trip to the area. It was virtually impossible for us to book an alternative home that does have internet services.

Kitchen cabinets are dirty and toilets release sewer gas when flushed. No internet or phone service.House is close to Navajo Dam for good trout fishing. Jamie is very pleasant but needs to do a major cleaning.

Beautiful setting amongst the cottonwoods and nearby river. Conveniently close to quality waters to fly fish. Inside was clean and decorated nicely. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax after a day's fishing. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped to cook our meals.

Perfect vacation. My parents stayed with us. We fished during the day, and ate our catches at night. The house is clean and the beds are comfy. The direct river access is amazing. I actually went fishing with a fresh cup of coffee in hand. Thank you, Jamie!

Great house and location

Overall Awesome. The house was in a great location about 5-7 minutes to Texas Hole 10 minutes from Navajo Dam. Comfy beds, really nice house, right next to San Juan River you can hear the river from the bedroom, and we saw turkeys, deer and in the evening played board games. Thx for a great weekend.

Met our basic needs. Great location

Great location. There were a few issues with the shower not draining properly the first night, but it cleared up. There wasn’t a hair dryer even though it was listed. Jamie said that someone took it a couple of days before. A hot tub was listed, but we didn’t see it. The house was clean, the location was great. All in all a good place to rent for fishing trips to the San Juan river. The bedrooms are all upstairs, so not good for folks with medical issues.

Really nice place on the San Juan River, big home very well stocked with everything you need for your stay.. Fly fishing anytime you want or just relaxing on the property was pretty nice..Jamie the host and his family were very welcoming .if we ever come back to this area we would love to stay here.

Fishing trip

Host was easy to communicate with and friendly, he offered some fishing tips. Home is very well stocked with everything you need we did do alot of home cooking and had everything we needed. Our only issue was the Fan in master bedroom was broken. The area is beautiful the kids loved seeing the deer n turkeys. We will definitely be back just not the same time of year, alot of cotton from the cotton woods in the river so it was a bit difficult to fish the san Juan river. (Probably because of the rain storm they had. ) Close to the wines of the San Juan and not far from navajo lake which is also beautiful

Family stay to fish the San Juan

This was a wonderful stay. The house was on a great stretch of the San Juan and my husband and kids fly fished successfully for rainbow and brown trout on the private stretch of river right behind the house. We saw deer and turkeys right in the yard. The house had plenty of space and was clean and comfortably appointed. Good communication with the host. The house was perfect for us.

Great location

Now that Abe’s remains closed, it is difficult to find a convenient to fishing and affordable place to stay near the quality waters. This location fills the bill. It is spacious and well set up. The kitchen is fully functional and well provisioned. This is important since you will almost certainly need to cook since the only restaurant nearby, the Sportsman, is opened Wednesday-Sunday and Aztec is a long drive. Jamie, the manager of the property is readily reachable and very helpful. He called the day before arrival to go over access and procedures. Would stay here again.
