Independent – Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park, Parkersburg

”It is a nicely renovated and kept historical building. The hotel is very nice, comfortable and the rooms are spacious and well set up. Bar, restaurant, outside patio, Speakeasy are great. There is a library, snack and flower stands, convenient parking and valet services available. I would stay again!”

”I've stayed here on multiple occasions. The staff is always friendly and professional. One this occasion, the gentleman at the desk noticed I was limping a little. He suggested I opt for a downstairs room this time to avoid the stairs. Not many would notice; even fewer would care. This is five star service.”

”Beautiful scenery, peaceful. Hosts are very responsive, they go above and beyond to make sure guests are happy. The fishing is fun, my dad caught a big catfish. This is our 3rd year here, already planning for a return trip next year. Home is clean and stocked with so many extras!”
