”Wonderful place, had the most relaxing time here on the water. Friendly, helpful staff, everything we needed in what was a tiny house rather than a hotel room.Loved the dog friendliness here too ,we chose this place because they allowed dogs. The place was so quiet and low key too,everything was quiet after 10. Chincoteague is a charming ,picturesque island, town with multiple delicious food options. Cannot wait to stay at Blu Fin again!”

”I would stay at Islam Retreat again. It is an older duplex but has a lovely setting. The kitchen was small with very little “prep” room. Parking was a challenge with full-sized pick-up and van but not impossible. Loved the screened porch which held a full- sized table and chairs and a lounge area. ”

”We thought this was a wonderful place to stay, one of the better rentals we’ve had. It’s one of the more private rentals on the island. So we didn’t feel so close to neighbors at all. The house was all clean other than the floors were still a little sandy from the previous renters. They did have a vacuum and broom to sweep it up. Everything was well stocked throughout the house. Towels and bedding were included. There was plenty of towels but only enough washcloths that it wasn’t even two per...

”The house was very comfortable. I had chosen it especially because of the porches (front and back) and we used them a lot. They gave room for everyone to spread out. Air conditioning was comfortable. A good value. I recommend it!”
