It was in the perfect spot for us as we were attending family weekend for our son's fraternity at UT but also close to all the fun in Pigeon Forge. ”Loved this historic home located in a peaceful picturesque location yet minutes from so much to see and do. Great opportunity to expose grandkids to how things were 220 years ago and explain significance of a spring house back then. You only need to bring a head pillow if you have a special one, otherwise the home is fully stocked up on all the feelings of home. ”The property is well located. The room was reasonably comfortable and the host provided some nice conveniences such as picnic plates and cutlery. On the downside, you WILL hear any night owl neighbors in the unit upstairs. Also, the flooring level change as you approach the bathroom is a bit of a tripping hazard. ”

”Amazing place. If you want a relaxing stay with a awesome view, this is the place. Loved just sitting on the HUGE deck reading a book, looking at the mountains and watching the deer stroll through the property. The cabin has everything you could want and more. It is VERY dog friendly. A remote location that is just 15 min drive to town that has anything you need from restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops and movie theater. Will definitely stay here again when need to just get away!”

”Gorgeous country property about a half hour drive from Blacksburg! Our daughter is a Virginia Tech alumnus, and wanted to visit the campus for nostalgia’s sake. This farm property was a lovely getaway for the four of us (all adults)!The house is warm and inviting, and the grounds and gardens are dotted with whimsical accents.
