”Surfari was a great place to stay. The breakfast was really good and we slept well as there was not that much noises from the streets (sometimes heavy rain, barking dogs or a rooster crowning woke us up). The staff were really nice and helpful. Rooms were very basic, quite small, but clean and hot water in the shower was a great value. There were 2 kitchens where you can prepare your own meals with lots of kitchen equipments.”

”Firstly, thanks to Rebecca for her communication and quick responses. This unit on the water was perfect for our stay in Bocas Del toro. It was close to groceries as well as restaurants so we had everything we needed. My only issue was that the chef knife was very dull and had challenges cutting up our tuna we caught. Would highly recommend staying there. ”

”Wonderful spot, basic accommodation. Very clean and comfortable. Our room had a nice deck but being set back didn’t get nearly as good a breeze as the shared deck space further out over the water. You can organize tours and water taxis to pick you up right there. Rebecca, the manager, is lovely and very helpful in organizing taxis and sharing information ”

”Wonderful stay at a lovely apartment on Colon island. Close to the beach bike trail for quick access to town by bike or short ride from passing taxis and bus. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the host was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Made for a wonderful stay on Bocas!the hammock on the front porch was a plus, and the outdoor table made dinner a treat. ”

”Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. ”A perfect combination of private accommodations with access to a personal captain to travel to some of the amazing places the area has to offer. Plenty of wildlife including: Dolphins, starfish, sloths, monkeys, geckos, many types of fish and birds. Access to the kayaks and paddleboards was great too.
