”The property was wxactly as pictured and desceibed, the hoat was friendly and helpful and tyhe aureoubding area was perfect for walking pur dog, who also enjoyed his stay. The little cafe next door was a great bonus for breakfast and you're only a minutes walk from the bus stop on the main road with great transport links into Newcastle”

”The property was large and was a good base to use being about 20 minutes from a beach and about 10 minutes walk from a park with swings etc for the grandchildren. It was about 5 minutes drive from an Aldi and Lidl. ”

The cottage has all the amenities you could ask for and was spotlessly clean. We would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to spend a quiet break in County Durham. Say hi to the llamas!”

”We wanted to stay in the area as my partner has family routes there , we especially wanted to walk along Seaham beach . The location of the tower was perfect, beautiful countryside and such a unique place to stay.”

”Had the pleasure of spending a couple of nights here with my partner and 3 daughters. A great place to get away and spend some quality time. It feels very remote but at the same time is close enough to drive or jump the train into Newcastle for the day. It was great sitting around the firepit in the evening after a soak in the hot tub! Plenty here for the whole family we would definitely stay again. ”

”This is a versatile accommodation for business, pleasure, families. Set in a fantastic location at the bottom of penshaw monument. There are some many places within a short drive. If you don’t want to drive there is lots to do in the immediate surrounding area. A short walk and you are down by the river, where there is a great coffee shop or friendly pub. If you enjoy walking or have a dog this is an ideal place to stay. The privacy is also another massive bonus. I would certainly...

”Had a lovely time staying here for a few days. We had a couple of places we had on our bucket list and this was a good base. Didn’t get a chance to see the arch near by by as it was raining. Only advise would be to have a sign where the holiday homes are as we used the postcode and nav took us to road down the road. Thank you for loaning us your pass for the Beamish Living Museum, had a lovely day even though we got a little wet. ”
