I walked to get breakfast and coffee and was a short drive or walk from wineries and redwoods. Check-in was simple and caretaker Shane is elsewhere on the property for any needs. ”The 4 pm check in and 10 am check out is brutal. And the cleaning person was outside waiting for us to leave by 9:40 am when I loaded our car with our bags. That made us feel super rushed to leave. ”

”We enjoyed our stay at this clean, well appointed house; comfortable, convenient and good looking. We slept well, had hot showers and a roaring fire. Recommended.”

”Tadpole cottage was a sweet destination to chill in the countryside for a few days. Although the weather was hot and there is no air conditioning, the place stayed nice and cool at night and was easy to sleep. The ducks were so cute and personable we had a great hang.
