Tule nauttimaan tämän uuden järvenrannan retriitin rauhallisesta rauhasta vain 5 minuutin päässä Boothbayn sataman viehättävistä merenrantakaupoista ja ravintoloista! Vuokra on yksityinen, valoisa, tilava asunto kodin alatasolla 9-jalkaisilla kattoilla ja PALJON ikkunoita ja lasia nähdäksesi kauniin veden ja auringonlaskut jokaisesta huoneesta. Nauti tähtikatselusta, kalastuksesta, uinnista tai valitse neljästä kajakista tai soutuveneestä tutkia mailin mittainen järvivesi. Kävele ranskalaisista ranskalaisista ovista ja istu äärettömässä tuolissa ja kuuntele tuulta puissa ja katsele auringon kipinää järvestä tai käytä lyhyttä polkua, joka johtaa yksityiseen laiturille uimaportailla ja ui, makaa ulos pyyhelle auringossa tai ahvenen kannalle lähellä veden ääriä. Suuri makuuhuone sisältää queen-size-vuode, joka sijaitsee kauniisti katsomaan ulos veden yli. Kaksi valinnaista taitettavaa sänkyä olohuoneessa nukkuu vielä 2 ja voidaan tehdä yhdestä suuremmasta sängystä. Laitteessa on pieni mutta täysin varustettu keittiö upouusilla ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetuilla laitteilla avuksesi. Kylpyhuoneessa on kaksi pesuallasta. Nauti omasta sisäänkäynnistä, lämmityksestä ja ilmastoinnista omalla vyöhykkeelläsi ja yhden ajoneuvon pysäköinnistä. Mukana WIFI ja Sling TV, jossa älytelevisiossa on uutispaketti (myös valmis Netflix-, Amazon Prime- tai muuhun liitettävyyteen). Pelit ja palapelit linjaavat kaapin hyllyjä rohkaisemalla irti pistorasiasta. Kiinteistö sijaitsee hiljaisella umpikujaisella tiellä, joka johtaa jalkakäytäville kaupunkiin. Kauniilla merenrantareitillä kaupunkiin kävellen kestää noin 20 minuuttia tai ota 5 minuutin ajomatka autolla. Tämä on loistava lähtöpaikka myös muun Boothbayn alueen tutkimiseen! Ota alueen kävelyreittejä, valitse veneretki nähdäksesi viehättäviä saaria ja majakkaita, pulahda merelle jonkin alueen kalliorannasta tai katso lähellä olevaa kasvitieteellistä puutarhaa. Suurin osa kodista on osa-aikainen lomapaikka omistajille, mutta älä huoli! Kaikki upeat arvostelut olivat lähtöisin viikoista. Tervetuloa!

Lakefront Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved staying at this peaceful waterfront property. The interior was spacious, very clean and our host provided everything that we could possibly need. This property has such a homey feel to it. It is a real gem and a lovely home away from home.

Our peaceful getaway

This is our second stay at Wendy and Jim’s place. Once again it didn’t disappoint. The place is beautiful, quiet, and has everything you need. We enjoyed as much time by the water as we could taking in the Eagles, loons and the occasional seagull communal bath!! It’s so close to town that one could probably walk if they were energetic, but that’s not us. Once again my sister and her fiancé joined us for a few days because they also love it there. Would highly recommend for those that want a relaxing stay. Wendy and Jim are awesome to deal with.

Boothbay Bliss

Wendy's place was serene, and immaculate! Every one of us enjoyed this place. From the kayaks to the fishing or just enjoying the peacefulness from sunup to sundown this place was wonderful! The cottage was so cute and quaint with beautiful decor, the shower felt like a massage! Wendy was so kind and accommodating. The amenities of this place exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return to visit, and definitely recommend to others as well! Five star everything!

Lovely Serene Place!

This was our second stay and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Boothbay. The apartment is spacious, charming, and well equipped. We loved sitting by the lake watching the birds, and kayaking using the ones provided. In Boothbay our favorites were Cabbage Island Clambake, the wonderful two story bookstore with every kind of book plus toys and games, Mung Bean, an artisan's collective, and eating at the waterfront restaurants. I can't recommend Wendy's place any more highly. Plus, she is super nice and friendly!

Our secret gem

Apartment is not how I would describe our place. We felt like we were in our own little sanctuary. Wendy has done wonders with the downstairs of her house. Spending the morning drinking coffee while looking out the French doors to the lake was so peaceful. The huge bathroom with double sinks worked out well when my sister joined us. We spent hours by the water enjoying the wildlife. The place was supplied with everything we needed and showed a lot of special touches that Wendy has put into the place. We are already planning to book again.

Restful home, thoughtful hosts

We never return to the same spot twice BUT this VRBO has made us change our mind. Lovely view across a lake. Quiet location with beautifully decorated space. The hosts were very thoughtful which enhanced our stay. The lodging is ideal for 2 people who may have 1-2 children. There are lots of games and Lego in the closets, dock on the lake, and outdoor grill. Note: there is no dishwasher or clothes washer, only one bathroom but it is LARGE, and the refrigerator is NOT full size. If these are only inconveniences than consider this a great place to visit in Boothbay, Maine

Quiet & Enjoyable

Just as the title says.....we wanted to get away (just the two of us) for a long weekend where it was quiet and we'd have the ability to reconnect. This location was perfect for us. Beautiful lake in the backyard, no street noise, very clean, just perfect. Easy ride into town, great location.

A great visit

Our host was very flexible and helped with some needed changes. The accommodation has lovely views overlooking the lake with all the bird life keeping us occupied. We walked most mornings as the neighborhood is quiet for a pleasant stroll. Apartment is nice, but we limited our cooking mainly to breakfast as kitchen is adequate but quite small. The bathroom and shower were great and the views from the windows in the comfortable bedroom were lovely as well, Our best trip was to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Don't miss it.

Quiet stay on the lake

This is a beautiful property on the lake. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed using the kayaks and relaxing by the lake. Downtown Boothbay Harbor is only a 5 minute drive away with lots of shops and restaurants. Wendy was great at communicating with us and always replied quickly. Hope to visit again! Thank you!

Just as advertised

A wonderful stay and just as advertised. Big and spacious with everything you need and more. Quite atmosphere with a great night’s sleep. The loons waking you up in the morning and hearing them towards the evening was very cool. Plenty of movies and games available if needed. The kayaks were great and many different size life jackets provided. We had a fantastic harbor tour seeing the sights, harbor seals and porpoises. Just down the road from downtown Boothbay and some of the best Maine lobsters. Thanks for a great stay and hope to return. Kaz and Dennis

Perfect 50th Birthday Week

Your twin daughters only turn 50 once and I couldn’t have picked a better place. Only a 5 minute drive to the lovely town of Boothbay Harbor and yet the peacefulness of lake living. Owner provided everything we needed and even had kayaks and a row boat. The beautifully decorated apartment seems almost new and the furniture is comfy and clean. Loads of linens provided. Owner was so nice. A perfect host. Perfect, really!!!!

Spotless and you'll find everything you need she provides anything you can think of. We loved Boothbay Harbor the beach. Wendy has a fantastic home. It was the cleanest rental I have ever had, completely spotless! I felt like I was in hallmark movie everyday. The view was fantastic and proximity to town was perfect. Wendy has gone above and beyond to ensure directions are clear from booking and arrival to departure. It takes a lot of effort and personal attention to ensure this quality of vrbo. I only hope Wendy continues to rent out her home as my husband was already planning our next visit.

Such a beautiful place!

Our stay was amazing! The house and the entire property were perfect - everything was so beautiful, and so well put together. Wendy really thought of everything that someone might need while staying at her place. The lake access was amazing, and the surrounding landscape was so peaceful and serene. The town was only five minutes away, and was so fun to explore. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a nice peaceful getaway!
