”Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. ”We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

”Really friendly owners Hugh and Marian, very good company! They took us up to feed the horses and meet the other friendly animals. We stayed in a little independent suite which was warm and cosy. Extreme comfortably bed!! Wonderful breakfast. 10/10”

”Good size and well equipped room. Most things newish and everything worked. It was very clean and the bed comfortable. One big issue stood out. The bathroom had no power socket (e.g. for shaver) and the sink/mirror area was in a small, dark, unlit alcove that prevented easy and convenient useuse”
