”Our room (Chicago) was a spacious, clean, and welcoming suite, overlooking the streets of Crema and facing a church (note: bells begin around 7am). The decor blends modern comfort with traditional Italian charm, highlighted by wooden beams and doors opening to a picturesque view. Do take care with rugs on wooden floors, as they can slip easily. Breakfast, delivered to the room, was excellent—a generous spread of fresh fruit, bread, croissants, jams, juices, tea, and coffee. B&B San Clemente...

”Unfortunately I lost my driving license in the UK on the way over to Italy so couldn't hire a car. Luckily I had friends who transported me to and from the hotel as required. There is no easy access to public transport and it is remote from shops too. To my surprise, I found out this hotel is one also used by couples seeking privacy, if you know what I mean. I didn't witness anything myself so not a problem for solo travellers. It was clean and staff were very friendly ”
