”We had stayed at a different hotel the night before (when this location was sold out) and it was less than ideal. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on the Marriott property and took away so much stress from what had been a pretty hectic arrival into Shreveport. Mercedes at the front desk was absolutely amazing in helping get our room prepared and secured early for us, answer questions and making sure we had everything we needed. ”I was ready to leave. The air conditioner didnt work. Our room stayed around 75 the whole night. I wet rags and put all over me. To top it off... the suite i booked for my family wasnt held. So my kids were down the hall from me. So on top of a hot miserable night i couldn't sleep due to worrying about my minor kids. I will never visit another one of these properties. ”

”There’s a few spots to eat nearby Whataburger McDonald’s Subway but there’s things if you’re willing to drive a few miles down the road. Boardwalk should be taken off as a scenery because more than half of the stores are closed.”

”The check-in staff was very kind, everything else was disappointing. All towels had holes in them, the furniture was mixed matched. All the "fixed" places on the walls wete very obvious. Definitely needs to be updated.”
