”Nice place to live (self catering type) but a slop hill of about 25m to walk through if on foot. With 7 day pass, it is easy to travel to Boston city about 40mins. Nearby, get restaurants and 7-11. It is a good place (cost effective) to stay for my Boston marathon and walk around Boston. ”

”My Wife and I were kept up all night and they gave us a room underneath the stairs. The gentleman above us was up and down all night from 10pm-3am. It was a horrible evening. Had to go downstairs at 3:15am to request a different room.”

”The place isn’t horrible but it also isn’t great. Very budget level, you get what you pay for. The futon is not usable as a bed- we’re taking rock-floor hardness. Be warned the stomping begins at 5am during the weekend. This isn’t your regular level of childhood rambunctiousness either. This kid was trying to break through the floor at one point I’m pretty sure they were using furniture to attempt to smash a hole in the basement ceiling. No sounds of reprimanding or reminders to be respectful to...

”The hotel is small, homey and quiet. Centrally located near Harvard Square. Excellent service and good breakfast. Suitable for business trips.”

”Stayed here for the Boston Marathon as a 23 y/o female and it worked well. The host was kind and responsive. The property was also nice for a home stay situation. I never felt unsafe, each room had a key lock and the bathroom sharing was never a problem. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.”

There is no front desk service -- all communication with our hosts was done through text messaging, but they were quick to respond, and our room was made up daily. The room was lovely and very comfortable. No breakfast or food on site, but there are good dining options a short walk into town. Great location for exploring the waterfront and downtown Rockport!”
