Fabulous home in fabulous location

The house is divided into three floors which worked great for our family. The master bedroom is on the top floor. The living area and kitchen are on the main floor and the other group of bedrooms are in the basement. It was perfect for dividing grandparents, our adult son/ spouse and grand children. The kitchen was open and fabulous. There is an outdoor sitting area that you can use morning, noon, and night. It is a beautifully lit up, flat and clean backyard. This might have been our favorite area! The owner is in the back house next-door so easy access and very attentive to any needs that arose. I highly recommend everything about this home!

Christmas Family Reunion

Love the location, home is spacious (room in the kitchen for multiple cooks!), house was well stocked and even decorated for Christmas! Host went above and beyond.

Great for a biking trip

Chad was great! Very responsive in the run up to the trip. Have a great tour of the house. House was exactly what was needed for a week of cycling in the mountains. Would definitely return!

Perfect big group house

Couldn’t have asked for a better house and experience if I tried. The home was beautiful, perfectly stocked and had everything we needed, plus was in a perfect location in walking distance to lots of restaurants and places to go. Chad was also excellent- made everything really seamlesss and was friendly and easy to work with Perfect house for a big group

Really is the best house in Boulder!

My husband and I stayed here with our siblings and their wives for our small elopement in September. Chad was a great host and walked us through this amazing historic home in downtown Boulder. Every room is truly breathtaking, and the way they renovated the home preserved the historic charm so well. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here!

Spacious family home

Chad was a wonderful host. Every request was responded to and resolved when needed in a timely manner. we enjoyed the grand kitchen for entertaining and the lovely outdoor table for summer evenings. Great space downstairs with a washer dryer that worked out very well for the children. The linen and bedding could be updated at some point, but overall we enjoyed our stay very much in the house.

Agreed! Best house in Boulder!

Our family recently stayed at this home in Boulder. It was absolutely perfect for our family of four plus one friend of our eldest teenager. Each of the teenage boys had their own room on the lower level, and my husband and I had the master suite one floor above the main living areas. The home was the most well stocked of any house in which we've previously stayed. The kitchen, the heart and soul of most homes, and indeed this one, was wonderful to cook in, and the long table was perfect for meals, and card games in the evening. The garden is gorgeous, lovely in the morning when it was cool, and bucolic in the evenings after dinner. The lighting and plantings are perfection. The ease of playing music whilst cooking dinner, to walking to Pearl Street for coffee or shopping, the steam shower (yes!) to playing backgammon in the garden was so wonderful. Chad was more than accommodating to our request to stay an hour later, was incredibly responsive to questions and, a real pleasure to work with. We loved our stay and hope to return! Thank you to the Watson family for loaning us your beautiful home.

Fabulous!

First time visitors to Boulder and stayed in this amazing VRBO. We were busy with family wedding events, but found time to enjoy the outdoor side yard for dinners and convenient location to Whole Foods made breakfasts simple with three small children. This was a perfect stay for our entire family!

Spectacular Experience

Our experience from beginning to end was spectacular. This beautiful house is conveniently located in walking distance to everything we needed - coffee, restaurants, shops & entertainment. The neighborhood is quiet and there is plenty of free parking. The homeowner was quick to respond to any questions before during and after our stay. He was very welcoming upon our arrival. The house was clean and well stocked upon arrival. The beds were comfy the rooms were quiet for sleeping. The house is spacious with several gathering areas with lots of comfy seating. The yard is lovely and the upper deck has great views. The kitchen is large and perfect for cooking meals at home. The only note I would make (that is also noted in the listing) is that there are two very cool kids lofts that have ladders. Just something to keep in mind If you have kids under 5 years old who like to climb. The owner is willing and able to remove the ladders if needed. I cannot think of any improvements that would make the house better - this home is perfect. We had a wonderful week and very much appreciate the opportunity to stay here. We hope to be back soon!

Amazing 5 star family home

We were attending a family wedding and had a large crowd. The space was amazing and beautifully appointed... everything you could need. The hosts were generous and the location was fantastic.

Cant imaging a more perfect house in Boulder

Before I begin, I want to say something about the owner of this home. Chad was aware of a tragedy in our family and he could not have been more accommodating, generous and hospitable....in ways most other rental owners would not have even considered. Now the house....the location is perfect! Our daughters plus their families, my husband and I were all so comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds were all comfortable. Plenty of fresh linens, paper goods. Just a truly first class house. All of us felt the same about this house. We can not comment on anything that could have been made better. We’d love to stay here again...possibly in the summer or spring....

Definitely lived up to claim of Best House in Boulder!

Fantastic home with plenty of space highlighted by an outstanding kitchen & great room with all the accoutrements one could ever need. Great beds with plenty of washrooms. Walking distance of downtown Boulder, all the shops & great restaurants Pearl St has to offer! Thank you for making our first trip to Boulder so memorable & enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back.

What a wonderful house!

This beautiful home was perfect for our multi-family trip to Boulder. All ten of us (6 adults, 4 kids) had plenty of room both inside and out. The house itself has been meticulously restored, so it has beautiful, old-fashioned charm, but it also has all the modern conveniences of an up-to-date "smart" house. The kitchen it huge, and has everything you'd want, including plenty of dishes, glasses, and fridge space! Two of the downstairs bedrooms have lofts for sleeping, which are really meant for smaller kids. This worked out fine for our family, but wouldn't work for an adult. Also, note that two of the full bathrooms are in the master suite, including one really amazing shower! The location is fantastic. A welcoming neighborhood vibe, yet plenty of privacy. Easy to walk to the outdoor Pearl Street shops and restaurants which is ideal. The owner was very quick to reply to all questions and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. This place is a real gem, if you're lucky enough to get it.
