”The location, views and restaurant really blew us away. There were a few challenges with the room. We were there for 4 nights, so we had a bit of gear with us for hiking, etc, and the room was really small. The bathroom was difficult to maneuver in, because there is no where to put anything. All on all, the pluses outweighed the minuses, but it’s difficult, from the Expedia listing, to tell exactly what room you are booking, and with what amenities. I recommend going on the Cascade Lodge website...

”This was our overnight stay prior to entering the BWCA the next morning. We arrived fairly late and check in could not have been smoother. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a tad small but usable. The room itself was larger than most. The included breakfast was great. Many choices and the never ran out of anything. We would definitely stay their again.”

”Clean and quiet with great "natural AC" from breeze off Lake Superior during the July "heat dome" in MN. A couple minor comments that didn't affect our stay: Deck railing has big gap on bottom and small children could fall off if not constantly attended to. Also deck screen door slightly off kilter. We loved the breakfast and lounge area with wide views of Lake. Very pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Situated right on the bike trail for great walks and rides.”
