”The location in Morton-in-marsh was excellent. Our room was small but adequate for 2 nights. We ate in the pub and the food was good, although it's a shame they don't provide breakfast. The pub was very quiet and closed at 9.30pm so there was a lack of atmosphere. But it was fine as a base for a couple of days.”

”Staff were amazing, shout out to Rob in the bar, willing to go out of his way to provide excellent customer service. Friendly, knowledgeable and adaptable, creating a mocktail which was delicious and exactly what I had wanted. Unfortunately, these days, if something is not a quick fix then customer service often goes out of the window… not here! All staff were attentive and happy to acknowledge requests when necessary. Breakfast service was wonderful, great selection which was replenished...

”We were in the king room way upstairs tiny stairs that a person my age should not be climbing. The bed was uncomfortable. We were there during the heat wave and had to depart a day early due to lack of AC and ventilation. Location was good and staff was friendly. Front desk not manned at all times. Hard to get service. Still have not received email with receipt from property. Not much choice in this area of hotels, just don’t book upstairs rooms!”

”The room was lovely and cozy, at the top of the building with nice views of the rooftops and sunsets. The bath was across the hall, but it was ours alone. The stairs were a small challenge. Street parking was not a problem. There certainly couldn't be a better location!”

”Perfect family suite with two bedrooms. Roof hatch was fun to have, functional as well as aesthetic. 6 minutes ride to the Stow center, good uber availability.”

Things to note: No contact details in the room for reception / pub staff (same thing) No Wi-Fi details - had to go to pub and wait until the barman was free to ask. Only just enough toilet roll for one night for one person (not going to the pub to ask out loud) No plugs near the kettle so had to plug it in on the floor by the door. Food...
