”This is a lovely hotel. We had a room in the Pole Barn which had its own outside seating. The seating here could do with being a wee bit more comfortable, but it was a nice touch. The room was small but very well-designed - controllable temp and lighting, a fridge and a great bathroom. The restaurant was lovely - big, airy and stylish. I was very thankful for the soya / oat milk in the fridge for us too. The little path to the joiners arms could have been lite a little better from the road to the static caravans but the pub was great also, food was delicious and breakfast was fantastic, great options. ”Light bright rooms, overlooking fields with castle & sea in the distance. Plenty of parking at front of building. Sraff extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice both cold & cooked. There is an onsite cafe adjouning hotel which was ideal. They served hot & cold dishes, variety of sandwiches, cakes, puds etc. It is open 24/7 & used by passersby on A1.
Very central for trips to Bamburgh, Seahouses, Lindisfarne etc.
