”This was our second time staying at Sedona Pines. Last year we loved our stay even if the cottage was also a little outdated. This time the atmosphere had changed and we did not enjoy our stay that much. The cottage is still nice, even if more outdated, but ours needed a lot more cleaning. There was a pool party which continued even after the pool was supposed to be closed. No supervision at the resort. Marijuana smelled everywhere and made us sitting outside the cabin unconfortable. ”Our "room" was more than suatible for our needs. We stayed Tuesday- Thursday. Spent the evening on Tuesday in the pool with the kids and got up semi early on Wednesday to go explore some of the hikes wich were within 15 min from the hotel. Then back to the pool where we grilled some brats by the pool on provided grills. ”

”The addressin is misleading, it leads to a locked gate, which from you cannot enter the resort. At the gate should be directions to check-in, but the box where they should have been was empty. At least there was a phone number, where you had to call to get directions to the check-in point.”

”The resort was beyond my expectations. The preview pictures don't do it justice. The condo was huge - two stories, fully supplied kitchen, washer/dryer, large dining/family area, good sized room with two beds and a full bath, and large primary room with walkin shower and tub. While a bit dated, everything was in great condition. The location was fantastic. Beautiful views from the resort. Great location, near shopping and restaurants. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.”

”Great location and new build with open windows and light and airy feel. The pool was enjoyed by the kids. Large beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Would recommend having the housekeeper come at 10 (checkout time) vs waiting in the driveway since 8am though, that felt aggressive to us. ”

”We loved our stay in this home in Sedona. The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We were 10-20 minutes from everything we wanted to visit- like popular hiking trails, uptown Sedona, the Arts and Crafts village, grocery stores, and restaurants. It's really nice that they provide a national park pass and some great recommendations for food and activities. This is a special house in a special place. We hope to be able to return one day!”

Sandy was an efficient host, answering any questions we had - whether about the property or the area. We loved our stay! Shopping, hiking, sight seeing were all just minutes away. "We had probably the best studio room (302) of the whole resort! It was a bit on the side from other more "generic" rooms/buildings, and our patio extented to a secluded barbeque area. The room even had its own parking spot. It really had an exclusive feel, perfect for a romantic set, and we especially enjoyed the fact that we could have some cold beer from our fridge and other items from Safeway (~3miles away) to do bbq. Washing dishes was a bit hard in the room and the room lacked good bbq-ing tools but we managed. We also enjoyed using the coffee maker and toaster. Unfortunately everytime we used the toaster it triggered the smoke alarm detector, but we quickly learned to toast having the doors open 😅 Room was very clean and patio/bbq area very well managed. A/C in the room was somewhat noisy. Pool area was well managed and it was especially nice to dip in to the jacuzzi late evening. Unfortunately though the pool bar wasn't open that late but it seemed to be fine to take your own beer cans to the area. Location was great but not for the Sedona's amazing views. In general at Sedona you MUST have a car to enjoy everything it has to offer, so having those views also in your resort really isn't necessary at all. It was just a 10min drive to e.g. Airport Mesa to enjoy the amazing Sedona sunset. Would definitely visit again, but I would beg to have the same room 🙂"

There was a pool party which continued even after the pool was supposed to be closed. No supervision at the resort. Marijuana smelled everywhere and made us sitting outside the cabin unconfortable. The place seems to attract younger crowd thesedays. Next time we will stay somewhere else. Sedona has so many nice hotels so there is no short of options."
