”Overall enjoyable stay. Staff friendly and supportive. Parking easy. Room overall comfortable - radiator and heater helped warm the room. Shower needs removal of mould and descaling of shower head. Preordering breakfast worked fine and the omelette was very enjoyable. Dinner was good. Sharing starter good as was the beef stew and Bull burger. Crumble nice. Enjoyable drinks in the bar.”

”Just perfect for our stay in Reading”

”Room clean and well set out. The major issue was I was ground floor with patio doors opening out to parking as area for the golf club.. no air conditioning in the room ment had to TRY and sleep in a 30+ room not good. Otherwise mostly ok Breakfast was not worth £19.98 nice coffee tho.. Parking & staff was ok I did expect a little more the bar was like a sports bar not my scene.”

”The room was spacious with a big bathroom, and access to a shared living room was an extra bonus. All of the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great.”

”Beds were terrible we had 2 single twins so not comfortable i woke up on the first night with awful back ache like never before I could of cired when I woke up. My mum has fibro all her bones where hurting her when she got up they put extra mattress topper on but didn't make any better I had to sleep in the chair that was more comfortable when complaining the lads didn't understand it was the manager we will not be staying at hilton hotel again it was very disappointing”

”Only thing I would suggest is that the rooms have a mini fridge”

”A small pub and hotel with very nice ambience and rooms. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and a cozy lounge. Single paned windows let in some road noise and chill.”

”Had a lovely stay the staff are so nice and helpful. Beds are very comfortable and the food is great. Was so nice being somewhere that caters for gluten free with no problems. This is our second stay here and we will definitely be back.”

”Hotelli oli siisti, huone tilava ja palvelu ystävällistä. Lyhyt matka tutustumaan Stonehengeen ja Highclere Castleen. Kyläällä hyvää ruokaa tarjoava pub. Golfkenttä aivan ikkunan alla. Kannaltamme harmillista oli, ettei golfklubilla ollut vuokramailoja, niinpä jouduimme pelaamaan muulla kentällä.”

”The rooms are well maintained and modern with an excellent shower, unfortunately we stayed on very very hot week and there is no air con but other times of the year it would be ok. The WiFi did not work for our stay with the staff blaming different things but in the end it just didn’t work anywhere in the building. We ate in the restaurant one night but found better options in other nearby pubs, One of the things I now hate about modern hotel bars is the lack of British beers on offer just the...

”This is a very old characterful property, with low beams etc. Venue was chosen for a small family reunion and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff were all very polite, helpful and patient which adds to the enjoyment. The food was really excellent and thanks to the chef none of our group had any complaints, Definitely recommend.”
