”The room was ideal for what I needed and was a lot warmer than first looked, with it being in the outbuildings I thought it would be freezing but it was sound. The breakfast was decent enough and overall the stay represented excellent value for money. It’s probably a lot more lively in the summer as the pub/restaurant was empty the night I was there which felt a bit strange. I would stay again if in the area with work.”

”Lovely location and tranquil setting. However our stay did not include breakfast and at £13 each we gave it a miss. Plenty of parking outside, although there were very few staff around, we had to call the hotel to get someone at reception.”

”On arrival at 2:45 for 3pm check in we were told by the girl it was £15 for an early check in, at £1 a minute we said no thank you we will sit in the car. We said there was coffee pods in the room but no Coffee machine, she said oh I don’t know, so that was the end of that. Next morning with another guest we were trying to get into the pub area, only to find both doors were locked. The same girl as yesterday eventually opened up and said you should use other door, when we said we did she said...

”The room was clean but a little sparse, and badly organised. The TV is on the dresser, for example. But overall the bed was comfy, the shower had good water pressure and the staff were lovely. Best English Breakfast I've had in a long long time. Worth going back just for that. ”

The restaurant next to the lodging was amazing, staff were so nice and helpful and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back.”

”The Cottage is a perfect choice if you want clean, quiet, and private accommodations that are walking distance to the Sudbury shops, to the meadows, and to public transportation. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils and has a peaceful view of the garden and the meadows beyond. The bed is comfortable, the surrounding area is very quiet at night, and the shower has good water pressure and temperature. The owners are a lovely couple who are friendly and who also respect...
