Makuuhuoneessa on sänky, yöpöytä, jossa on peili, ikkuna, josta avautuu näkymä vehreään maisemaan, ja lehvikuvioitu verho.
Moderni keittiö, jossa on valkoiset kaapit, sisäänrakennettu uuni sekä ruokailutila, jossa on pöytä ja tuolit.
Tunnelmallinen olohuone, jossa on harmaa sohva, kaksi nojatuolia, puinen sohvapöytä ja lattiavalaisin. Seinällä on kehystetty taideteos, jossa on kuvattuna violetteja kukkia.

  • Majoitustilalla kauniissa Georgehamin kylässä lähellä Brauntonia, Pohjois-Devonissa, March End lodges tarjoaa ylellistä majoitusta upeassa maaseutuympäristössä.
    Kauniisti sisustettua sisustusta täydentävät lattiasta kattoon ulottuvat ikkunat, jotka kutsuvat kauniille maaseudun näkymille antaen tilalle ihanan rauhoittavan ilmapiirin.
    Makuuhuoneessa on king-size-vuode, joka tarjoaa rentouttavan perääntymisen. Tilavassa modernissa kylpyhuoneessa on suuri kylpyamme ja suihkukaappi.
    Asuintilan keskellä on hyvin varustettu avokeittiö, joka on ihanteellinen upeaan ateriaan ruiskaamiseen; ja koska alueella on tarjolla niin paljon erinomaisia paikallisia tuotteita, saatat olla houkutus luoda muutamia paikallisesti inspiroituja ruokia.
    Ulkopuolella on katettu terassi, jossa kupliva kylpytynnyri odottaa. Räystäkkeen alla se tekee siitä täydellisen paikan rentoutua tuntien päässä viettäen samalla maiseman kauneutta.
    Thistledown Lodge on lemmikkiystävällinen, joten perheen neljäjalkaiset saavat myös nauttia upeasta lomasta. Great place to stop and relax.

A great place to stop, relax and unwind. So quite and peaceful. Should there be a shower the hot tub is undercover as is the access to it. Lovely beaches close by with Ilfracombe and Barnstable less than 30 minutes away

Beautiful find

What a beautiful place, just what we needed, so quiet and private, great walks, will 100% be back, already recommended to friends and family. The Milks up farm shop was a great little place Cannot wait to stay again.

Lovely stay in Devon

We had a great stay at March End Lodges! We brought our Weimaraner for his first holiday and it was perfect for him! The enclosed garden had plenty of space and was clean and safe which was great! The lodge itself had everything you could need for all types of cooking. We didn’t actually do any cooking and instead visited the local pubs in Georgeham and takeaways in Braunton. The local pubs were incredible and dog friendly too! In the daytime we did plenty of walking around the dog friendly beaches and sand dunes - all within a short car journey. We’d come again in a heartbeat - perhaps in a cooler month as it was too hot to fully explore the local area!

Perfect and peaceful

Thistledown lodge was extremely clean, peaceful and beautiful. The large enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and felt completely private and not over looked. The hot tub was perfect to relax in of an evening and look out over the fields. Would highly recommend as a place to relax and de-stress. The information supplied before visit was extremely helpful and allowed us to plan exactly what we wanted to do. Will 100% be recommending to others and look forward to booking again.

Beautifully peaceful in a great location

Thistledown offered superb privacy in a quiet location offering two friendly pubs within walking distance. We visited in mid May and benefited from slightly fewer tourists on the roads and at the beach. Putsborough beach can easily be reached by walking if you are moderately fit. The WiFi is ‘variable’ so don’t rely on it being available but it was nice to be able to disconnect from the world. I would happily re-book.

If You Want a Peaceful Break - Look Here!

An absolute gem of a find! Peaceful location and lodge has everything equipped for your needs! The garden is great for the dog to run around and the hot tub is excellent to relax in. Location is great with two pubs within walking distance and if you wish to expand the walk we walked to Woolacombe and back along the beach! Perfect little break and will definitely be back.

Beautiful stay

This was our second time staying here and it didn’t disappoint, we had the most relaxing stay. The location is just beautiful we loved looking out and seeing the baby lambs and bunny rabbits in the morning. Very clean, presented beautifully and love the little touches with the bottle of Prosecco and milk in the fridge. Will definitely be staying again, great customer service from owners. We love it here, the most relaxing stay to switch off and relax from a busy life style.

Can’t fault anything excellent

We had a very good time the property was in excellent condition and the bed was so comfortable also where it is positioned is very quiet to be honest can’t really fault it the bathroom was probably the best we have seen for a long time only problem was the internet seems to come and go a bit but wasn’t a problem also it’s easy to get anywhere else the local pub as excellent food we had a Sunday roast which was really nice so overall we was very pleased thanks to everyone who helped with the booking

Fantastic stay

Loved every minute of our stay in this lodge. The location is ideal to get to Putsborough, Croyde, Staunton and Woolacombe amongst others. The lodge was lovely and the enclosed garden did our dog was perfect. The hot tub was well maintained and the bed is the best I have ever slept in. All was perfect and we will definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality!

A Brilliant Stay- Thistledown

What a wonderful lodge for a relaxing getaway , a modern and spacious lodge with everything you could need , a great hot tub and private grass area for the doggy! Located in Georgeham its ideal to explorer Croyde, Staunton Sands and Woolancombe and the surrounding areas. We will be back !

Perfect break

We were blown away with the lodge. Everything was high end and the hosts had thought of everything. Hot tub was very private and overlooking the fields where the sun goes down. Had great weather for January and would definitely recommend. We hope to return.

Dog friendly holiday cottage

A lovely, comfortable and very well equipped holiday home with the added bonus of a hot tub and lovely countryside views. The huge bed was extremely comfortable. A fully enclosed garden makes it very safe for dogs. There are two dog friendly pubs within walking distance and Croyde with more facilities and amenities is a 5 minute car ride away. All in all, a really pleasant stay.

Amazing

Can’t fault anything! It was clean, comfortable, high quality and bonus of excellent location! One tip don’t follow sat nav in… drive via Croyde road, far less stressful if not used to country lanes. Amazing break, didn’t want to leave! Well worth a visit!

Perfect

Had a fantastic time at thistledown from the moment we arrived til we left. The lodge was clean and had everything you needed for your stay we enjoyed the hot tub and our dog loved the freedom of the fenced garden . The location was fantastic too as we used the two local pubs less than a ten minute walk to both and also walked to puttsborough beach wich was only a 45 minute walk . We had a fantastic time and definitely will return some day Thanks
