”My three night stay in the Garden Room at Shoal Creek Bed & Breakfast was lovely. Terri, my host made sure I was comfortable and her breakfasts were delicious. The house was spotlessly clean, bed comfortable and several places where one could sit and read, or do hand sewing, as I did. The quilt shops of Missouri Star Quilt Co. are nearby, and other things to see and do within easy driving distance. I do not hesitate to rate my stay as a five star experience. ”

”The house was very nice. It is on the edge of a very small town and so is isolated. My wife and I went birding at Swan Lake for our anniversary and spent the night here. The host was super nice and communication was easy. We were very pleased with our stay. If your looking for an out- of- the- way escape, I would highly recommend this house. On a side note, we had dinner at River Bottoms Brewing Company in Carrollton. I highly recommend it as well. ”
