”Nice and peaceful. Authentic ranch environment on an open range, with cattle, coyotes in the distance, and a couple of nice barn cats. The quarters are new remodeled. Very clean. Nice place to get away and slow down. Highly recommend this place when in town for A&M functions, or if you need a real getaway from city life. Just a few miles to the campus, and close to the airport as well if you fly charter.”

”I traveled with my BFF, whom I’ve known since our Baylor days. The Magnolia Farmhouse was just what we needed- a quiet, comfortable spot to relax. We loved the records (Willie Nelson) & the phonograph.”

”We wanted to stay in a “country oasis” for the most part we got that. Our host provided cow feed which proved to be a hit amongst the kids. There was a old pan of Bacon in the oven when we got there but otherwise it was clean.Unfortunately, we got a weird message from Joe, the host that was disingenuous and threatening…He received a message that VRBO flagged me in the system as being a rowdy guest- I contacted VRBO and they issued no such email- and that he was “ going to have his guy come check...

”All was substantially as expected. The one star was lost due to the required very expensive insurance or even more expensive deposit. We have stayed in dozens of VRBOs in hill country and never seen this requirement. We almost didnt book because of it. ”
