Loch Sandig A small loch with a sandy bottom and several areas of weed which is divided from the sea by a narrow line of rocks and sand. It seems likely that the sea frequently enters the loch over the top of the rocks, especially in stormy weather. Despite this the loch holds a small head of tiny brown trout.
