”Excellent hotel in the centre of brecon. While the free parking was often full the nearby paid car parks were very reasonable (4 gbp) . Lovely hosts and delicious breakfasts. ”

”This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.”

”My husband and I had a really lovely stay at the Usk & Railway Inn, from the friendly greeting at check in, the clean, good sized and comfortable room, with a good complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits, and toiletries, to the superb evening meal (a fantastic Sunday roast), we had a wonderful nights sleep. It was finished off by a hearty cooked breakfast, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you both, you’re great hosts. ”

Rooms perfect with en suite and views when sat outside were amazing. Loved watching the red kites . ”We found 7 Bell Street perfect and as good as the photos. Very well equipped and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds, and seating. Plenty of books magazines, information leaflets. Kitchen essentials Fresh milk marmalade and much more. Our hosts very helpful and welcoming. ”

It was very clean but a little worn around the edges and closer to the road than I would have thought but overall I'd definitely come back. Hot tub was great after hiking all day. Area is exceptionally beautiful. We liked the small town of Llandovery if you're looking for a cute place to eat. Staff was lovely. Bar and restaurant on site.”

”A beautiful converted train wagon nestled in the Welsh countryside. Very well put together with most amenities available. Very comfy bed - small but well sized for a intimate break together. ”Nice clean large room. The fridge was a big bonus. Excellent shower which was much appreciated after a long day walking. We were led to believe from the hotel.com web site that there is Wifi only in public areas but in fact there was wifi all over the the guest house including the rooms. And it was super fast wifi.
