”We had a very pleasant stay. Every member of staff seemed to go out of their way to be helpful. Our room was clean if a little dated and the bed was extremely comfortable .. We enjoyed using the pool and the changing room was fine. We did not have pound coins for the lockers and the hotel is cash free. Maybe advise guests on check in to bring a coin? Food choice was limited but we enjoyed our dinner . Breakfast was fairly standard but plentiful and well organised We would stay again”

”We had a lovely stay at the Marquis, our suite was lovely and had a private west facing balcony so we watched a lovely sunset over the river. Dinner was excellent, as was the wine, highly recommended. Staff were all really friendly and helpful.”

”Spacious room - staff very helpful- beautiful surroundings - lovely breakfast - asked to extend room for 1 hour and no quibble. Even an electric charge point - sadly did not get to experience the spa. Will definitely stay again ”
