”The cabin was perfect for us! Close to the more bustling towns & Hocking Hills/other state parks, but secluded in the woods. We loved the fire pit, hot tub, & porch swing. The bed was super comfy & the feel of the entire cabin was cozy. We loved the bird themed decor to match the name! Our only issues were with electronics & appliances. The microwave wasn’t working & the living room TV wouldn’t turn on. The bedroom TV worked, but the Roku was locked down & wouldn’t let us through to the cable....

”The location was peaceful and close to hiking and restaurants. There was plenty of deer and rabbits for our viewing pleasure. I liked there was no internet so that my vacation forced me to disconnect and relax (something I have a hard time doing). Take some games, DVDs, and books and relax. Only one real recommendation - chairs (rockers or a porch swing) on the front porch. It is a great porch and that is where we saw most of the wild life. I could have sat out there for hours.”

”The place was clean and I would definitely stay here again. A lot of the administration must be handled by Book Hocking rather than the owner who actually knows the property. They use similar language in every property description, including “4-wheel drive recommended” even though there is a perfectly flat parking area, and “leave your trash in the bins out on the driveway”, even though it should have said walk/drive your trash 1/8 mile to the end of the private road where all the trash cans...
