”This is a really fabulous small hotel. The mostly young staff are wonderful and have really good customer service skills. The room we had was large and warm and really nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable with sufficient pillows and some nice cushions.It was apparent that thought had been put in to all aspects of our stay. There were lovely little touches in the room - biscuits, fresh coffee and a cafetière, an extra blanket, and even recycling facilities in the room itself. We had a vegan...

Hotelli on siisti , hieman vanhahko mutta kaikki toimii, huoneet koleita jo syyskuussa eikä suihkusta tule kuumaa vettä,lammintä tulee muttei kuumaa. Ystävällinen henkilökunta.”

”Room for the first night, the heating was not working and a draft coming into the room from the window. Got moved into a different room for the remainder of the stay but the heating still didn’t work. That along with the lift not working from the first floor causing us to carry luggage up each day. Staff were great, but the overall experience of the stay left a lot to be desired. ”

The room was spotlessly clean, and I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The quality of the meals served at the restaurant was also extremely high, and I was very satisfied. I couldn't visit the adjacent Somerset Museum as it was closed, but I look forward to seeing it on my next visit.”

”A very pleasant stay at “The Carps”. Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and roomy shower room. The room layout reflects the history of the property with a couple of shallow steps between the bedroom and shower. We stayed for dinner and were rewarded by a tasty meal. A good selection of vegetarian options. Our usual habit of swapping plates half though very much went by the board. Breakfast was very good with both millennial and traditional...
