SHOCKING - AVOID! If I could rate this 0 stars I would!
08001615291 Accommodation was not as described. It was advertised as an executive apartment yet it resembled a youth hostel. Furniture was sparse and what little there was was broken or chipped with staining on the sofa. It was advertised as sleeping 6 yet there was 1 dining chair. There was no tea towel, kitchen towel or oven gloves and the kitchen sink leaked badly, leaving a puddle on the floor that we couldn’t get up and there was nothing to get it up with. No bin liner, not even the absolute basic - toilet paper. The 2 towels provided were soiled with I don’t know what and overall the accommodation was absolutely filthy. The plug sockets were smashed and unusable. The shower was mouldy and so disgusting I couldn’t have a shower. I contacted the host immediately (couldn’t gain access until 4.25pm, didn’t tell us how to access it until this time even though it is advertised as 3pm) and explained I was not happy. they advised they’d refund the cost of toilet paper. Nothing else, ignored all my requests. Contacted vrbo as the booking agent, who reported it as a health and safety issue and I advised that we would have to move out, we had to stay one night (04 Oct 23) as it was too late after trying to resolve things with the host and vrbo to find somewhere else. Wanted at least 50% discount for vacating the accommodation. Called vrbo every day but haven’t managed to find a resolution as they state the host, Eden, have to issue the refund. Hello Kalee, thanks for your review, however your comments are totally untrue and certainly a false review. You called on the day of arrival saying you were at the property. This was at 11:30am. We were very surprised especially as you had not informed us before hand you’d be arriving very early (as check-in starts at 3pm. Which is also shown when you book). This would normally not have been a problem if you informed us beforehand and if there was availability. After check-in, we had no communication with you whatsoever for the next week only to receive a message from you very late at night saying you were leaving the next morning. And the message below was what we replied you with the next day. Since then, we’ve had no further communication from you. “Hello Kalee, very surprised to hear this as you never mentioned this since your check-in last Monday. We also had the house keeper go in today and the apartment was left in a mess. Looks like you had a party there and even left in a hurry leaving some personal items like a printer behind. Please note that all the personal items have been thrown away. Thank you.”

Good weekend location for friends or family
Very nice apartment, with a reserved car park. Comfortable beds, two bathrooms, highly recommend for friends get away. Property owners are also very nice and understanding.

Nice apartment, walking distance to centre and train station
The apartment was very nice and new. Balcony, two bedrooms with two beds, two bathrooms and a living room with a sofa bed. We had everything we needed there and it was only a very short walk to the train station and short walk to the centre of Brentwood. We had no issues with the landlord who was very helpful during the check in. There were maybe some issues with the standard of the cleaning, but it didn't disturb us too much. The apartment is next to the train tracks, so a bit noisy, but only a few trains drove during the night.

The property itself could have been okay, but it was dirty, badly maintained and badly equipped. The biggest problem however, was that it directly overlooks four very busy railway tracks (not mentioned in the description), the noise and vibration from which totally destroyed our stay! Having said that, the owners kindly tried their best to help, but were unable to improve the situation.
