Perfect cottage for a couple
This was our second stay in this charming small cottage . It is located in a very quiet neighborhood and is so close to everything in downtown Brevard. We were able to enjoy wine on the back deck after one of hikes and it was the perfect way to end our day . We would definitely stay here again .

Adorable Cottage, Great Location
Such a cute home and so comfortable. Slept like a baby! The location is perfect for visiting all the surrounding parks and forests. Best part, my dogs were able to stay with us and they loved it too.

Writing retreat
Needed some space to complete a longish short story. This place was perfect. Quiet within walking distance to coffee, food, and wine. Highly recommend. Look forward to a return in the fall.

Great little cottage close to everything and let friendly too!
This place is just right for 2 humans and 2 pups. Close to great eats, breweries, hiking, scenic views. Wonderful back porch and yard area and nicely renovated with a well outfitted kitchen. This is the second time we've stayed and enjoyed it very much once again!

The perfect home away from home
This home was perfect! Kitchen was well equipped. Having 2 bathrooms is a huge plus! It was homey, clean and super comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and a great location! Can’t wait to stay there again!

New Empty Nesters’ Adventure
First of all, the photos online don’t do the precious home justice! We couldn’t have been more comfortable, and we commended on how amply stocked the kitchen was! We walked into town more than once (very easy stroll), and we loved Saturday morning’s farmers market! That provided Sunday night’s dinner! We found drinks downtown, yummy Thai food, and we enjoyed a phenomenal 9.5 mile hike on Sunday. Shopping in town for gifts for friends was nice as well. I highly recommend relaxing on the beautiful back deck, and taking as many adventurous strolls as possible! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Cottage for 2!
This small cottage was just perfect for my wife and I. When we arrived my wife said “this is sooo cute”, so I knew right then that we made a good choice. It is on a quiet street with very little traffic. The interior layout is very nice, having a bathroom on each level was very convenient. It is nicely furnished and has everything we needed for a great stay. The back deck was a nice plus, we spent a considerable amount of time there. Excellent location for walking our dog and is definitely within walking distance to town. No negatives here, all good!

Another Great Stay
We love this little house and were so excited to return for some pre-Christmas rest and exploration. It was as charming and wonderful as we remembered. Very clean and stocked with everything you need and then some. Bed is comfy and there are plenty of extra blankets in case you need them. Ample supply of towels, the kitchen has everything, and you can't beat the location. Plus, we saw many white squirrels in the yard and across the street, which if you know anything about Brevard, you know this is a thrilling bonus! Highly recommend.

Terrific 9 day autumn stay
This cute, comfortable, conveniently located cottage is just perfect for us. We had a wonderful stay at the end of October, our second visit in 2022. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, coming back after an afternoon of hiking to enjoy a glass of wine on the back deck and listen to the birds sing, then cook a simple meal in the well equipped kitchen or enjoy a short walk for a delicious restaurant meal in town. We highly recommend hikes in Bracken Preserve, bread and pastries from Bracken Mountain Bakery and supper at Quixote Fine Cuisine.

Fantastic cottage close to downtown

Perfect Cottage
The cottage was just perfect for the two of us and our two pups! It is so charming and had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable and a great location. An easy 10 minute walk to downtown Brevard where we found great restaurants (Square Root, Falls Landing), coffee (Cup & Saucer), and pastries (Bracken Mountain). Lots of terrific hiking nearby in Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest with spectacular mountain views and beautiful waterfalls. We would definitely return!

Our stay at the Dreamy Cottage for Two was just perfect: good location, easy to get to the Brevard Music Center for a fantastic concert, no traffic, quiet neighborhood, very well stocked and cute and comfortable. We will be back for more concerts in the future!

Loved it!
We had a wonderful week in this beautifully-furnished cottage. We loved the living space: very clean, cozy, uncluttered, and conveniently functional. Everything about the cottage was tasteful and well-maintained - especially true in the kitchen where it was a pleasure to cook (making going out on those few occasions more of a treat). Great location: we hiked daily and needed the car only for short drives to get to local trailheads. Visits to Brevard town center were conveniently within walking distance, including several visits to Bracken Mountain Bakery, a favorite of ours for coffee and pastry, with a freshly baked loaf of bread to go! Also worth mentioning: the entire neighborhood was more than quiet; it was downright tranquil in a friendly sort of way - leaving lots of room for the birds to sing to us, especially out on the back deck which we enjoyed thoroughly and regularly. Before leaving, we booked another week here in October, where we look forward to celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary.

Back Again!
I first visited this cottage 5 or 6 years ago. It was my first rental through Home Away, now VRBO. I was so happy to see that the owners have maintained the cottage perfectly. Through the years since that first visit I have rented many cottages. And hands down, this is still the best place if you're visiting the Brevard area.
