”This is a great weekday value as you can often stay for under $240 a night. Weekend can run $400-$500. That is not worth it to be honest. Breakfast is very continental but decent. Room is very large and bathroom is excellent with great water pressure in the shower. The inn manager Caroline is awesome. ”

”The room was spacious and we had a good experience overall. The staff was not friendly, meaning they did not greet or try to be helpful or address you unless you initiate contact first. That's a bit of a turn off although I do realize this has become the norm nowadays. And yes, I am older and am judging customer service based on the "old school" version. One thing that was below standard was the cleanliness of the bathroom towels - they did not look clean- they weren't stained just dingy...

”It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. The town itself is super cute, but the hotel is even more charming. There’s a cozy fireplace in the lobby and outdoors, plus a lovely garden with fountains and roses. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and parking very convenient. Thank you, Wine Valley Inn, for your wonderful hospitality. Tip for travelers: plan your drive to or from Santa Barbara during the daytime so you can enjoy the lake views and stop at the CachumaMuseum ”
