Set on a working sheep farm and within a few minutes walk of the coast; it is perfect for exploring the Flamborough Heritage coastline.. 1 step to entrance.

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Attachment, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Garden with garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Owl Cottage can be found on a working sheep farm just a short walk from the cliff top village of Flamborough in North Yorkshire. One of a number of barn conversions offering dog friendly accommodation for six with underfloor heating. Enter into the large living/dining room with Smart TV and feature stone wall. An electric wood effect fire sets the perfect ambiance for a relaxing evening. Find a selection of books and games for your enjoyment. A country style dining table provides and enjoyable place for family meals. The kitchen is well-equipped and a small breakfast table sits to one side. Owl Cottage provides a ground floor twin room with en-suite facilities. Take the winding staircase to the first floor and find two further bedrooms, a twin room and a double room with Smart TV. Both rooms have sloping ceilings and Velux windows. Across the hall is the house bathroom which has the best views in the cottage! To the front is a private patio area with additional seating. Enjoy an early morning coffee or an al fresco evening meal. A stone built barbecue is ideally located to cook up a storm after a long day exploring.

Owl Cottage is surrounded by open countryside and it’s only a short walk into the pretty village of Flamborough. Here you’ll find a couple of friendly pubs, fish and chip shops, tea rooms and well stocked convenience stores. Take a drive to Flamborough Lighthouse and watch the seals rest at low tide. The Flamborough Heritage Coastline offers miles of walking/cycling opportunities as well as the stunning RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Danes Dyke Nature Reserve is also worth a visit. For two sandy beaches, working harbour and Victorian Promenade take a trip down the coast to Bridlington. Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House and gardens and Sewerby Hall and garden are close by. The historic city of York is just an hour away and there is a choice of golf courses.

  • This is one of my favourite places in the world, nostalgia of childhood holidays, this little gem is tucked away on the East Yorkshire coast. When the tide is out you can explore the caves - some of which take you right through, just be careful the tide can come in fast! You can also take boat trips to Bempton Cliffs to see the puffins. Parking is about 50p an hour, there's a pub, cafe and icecream parlour in the old lifeboat station. There's also clifftop walks and spectacular views. #Waterlust #WeekendGetaway #YorkshireDay

  • Flamborough Head is a promontory, 8 miles long on the Yorkshire coast of England, between the Filey and Bridlington bays of the North Sea. It is a chalk headland, with sheer white cliffs. The cliff top has two standing lighthouse towers, the oldest dating from 1669 and Flamborough Head Lighthouse built in 1806.

  • Bridlington is a great example of the wonderful British seaside. With 2 beaches - pebble beach to the north of the town, and this sandy beach to the south, separated by the harbour, there's donkey rides, speed boat rides, a funfair, fish and chips a plenty and icecreams galore. This beach has great facilities for toilets, sowers and snacks and of course you can hire a traditional stripy deck chair and the usually essential windbreak! #YorkshireDay

Excellent clean and well equipped cottage

We stayed here for 5 days . The pictures don't do this cottage justice , plus it's had a revamp . Communication was excellent and check in easy . We had a super welcome hamper . The cottage was super clean . Very well equipped from kitchen equipment, to bathroom accessories, doggy towels , binoculars, umbrellas ....I had an issue with the WiFi which was on my self not the supplier but the owner looked into it straight away and explained to me how to log on . We would all definitely recommend this place and would without a doubt go back again.
