”Nice village put with good parking a nice clean room”

”No door on the bathroom in the bedroom, which wouldn't be a problem if I couldn't see the toilet from the bed. If you'd like privacy when you go to the toilet, this might not be for you. But other than that, the venue is amazing and the staff were incredible”

”Everything was lovely, especially the staff! In the middle of a heatwave, AC would have been nice but that’s Mother Natures fault. Food was excellent, parking was easy and the surroundings were beautiful! I definitely recommend for a taste of old world charm.”

”The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful.”

”Dogs welcome and treated so well with their own bed, blanket and bowl with free treats and no restrictions on where we could eat or drink. Lovely staff. And delicious food. Our room had everything you could need with a sweet balcony to sit outside. Highly recommend staying here - Max was outstanding. Thank you.”

”Fantastic stay in a beautiful village right on the edge of the Cotswold. The entire place was really lovely, including the staff - I actually booked for the wrong date but they quickly fixed everything and was able to adjust. Rooms was excellent, very comfortable and beautifully decorated, I also had dinner in the garden and the food was delicious. Added bonus that the village is where some of Downton Abbey scenes were filmed so that was fun!”

Tällä kertaa huone oli sivusiivessä eikä huoneessa ollut mitään erityistä, aika vaatimaton oikeastaan, mutta hintaansa nähden sekin oli ihan kelpo. Hyvä aamiainen. Loistava sijainti ulkoiluun, hyvät ja kauniit kävelymaastot ja pubeja sopivan matkan päässä. Sijaitsee kauniissa kylässä, joka usein näkyy Midsomerin murhissa - samoin hotelli. Sievää kuin mikä...”

”TV didn’t work, so resigned to reading a book, but the lighting in the room was too dim and couldn’t read.”

”Our room was clean and cool as our visit was during the heatwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially agreeing to transport us in the golf buggy as our room was a few minutes walk from the main reception. Breakfast was very delicious was a fair variety of items to choose from. Parking is fair but could become tight if there is a big event on. The grounds are well kept and encouraging to take a wander around. I totally enjoyed my stay, so thank you to the wonderful staff.”
