”Single room, multiple nights. As advertised except for aircon which is a fan not aircon. Neighbourhood is quite okay but there's absolutely nothing - not even shops - nearby. Nearest train station has a 24/7 freak and junkie show going on. :) If it weren't for the missing aircon, I'd recommend the place.”

”We enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful and comfortable stay at Mt Cotton Retreat. Sue was a pleasure to deal with and kind enough to offer us a complimentary upgrade to a superior room in the Boutique Hotel. The forest surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor areas where we could chill out and/or eat our meals. A comfortable bed, large bathroom and mid cons in our room made for a great stay. Thank you!”

”I was so disappointed by The Cliff House. We arrived after 5pm and had a hard time getting our keys. There was another gentleman there having the same issue, so I know it wasn't just us. The hotel is very run down. We could see light through the door from the hallway outside. The bathroom needed a good scrub (I refused to shower and just washed my hair using the handheld because I didn't have shower shoes/flip flops). ”Stayed here for two nights. The place is amazing, very beautiful surroundings and at a short distance to the Australia Zoo. The staff was very polite and helpful when planning the stay around the area. The lady in the reception knew very well what places are worth visiting! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very well cleaned!”

”Enjoyed that I could come and go without any need to interact with anyone. Sort of like having my own personal home/mansion. Beautiful location and grounds. If I had time for a longer stay, I would have had more time to enjoy the building and its grounds. Checkout was a simple as leaving the key and locking the front door. Hope to be back again one day!! ”I was lucky to have a very high floor so views were amazing! The bed and pillows are five star. The only glitch was retrieving keys/cards from corner shop...its awfully unorganised and just a mess to search through. I figured it out, but im sure there are many who struggle. Im surprised there isn't another organised, designated area to collect them..like Circle on Cavill Hotels do.”
