”This is very well appointed, the owners have covered all the small things that you would want in a room. Some lovely touches and room is very welcoming look when you arrive.”
”Stayed one night with family after a driving experience at the nearby aerodrome. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff very friendly and food on the night excellent. Will definitely visit again.”
”Amazingly large and typically quaint old coaching inn under new and energetic management. We stayed because of proximity to Althorp House. Stand out feature is the food at typical pub prices but far from typical. It was superb and makes it a destination in itself. Such a pleasant change to eat real home cooking and not some chilled and reheated offering.
Full English breakfast included in room rate and also superb. ”
”What a lovely little find. 5 mins off the M1, but set in the grounds of an old vicarage and very quiet and tranquil.
Lovely welcome from the owners, shown my room which was lovely and spotless. Shared kitchen area had everything, cooker, fridge, coffee machine… basically everything you need.
You can use the garden area which had seating and tables which was lovely just to listen to the peace and quiet in the sunshine.
Highly recommend this place for a quick stop off like myself, or a base to...

House is wonderful and very peaceful.
Bedroom was large with very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. Underfoot heating so showering was excellent.
Once the light went out you couldn’t see you hand in front of your face.
Perfect nights sleep on both nights and full use of kitchen when required.

”My friend and I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were all excellent, very friendly and helpful. The spa area and outside space were very relaxing and we loved our room which was very spacious and had everything that we needed. We will definitely go back ”
