”No great poorly managed”

”THIS HOTEL IS FILTY! FLIES, ROACH, BUGS ARE PRESENT. FLOOR IS FILTHY, phone from the 1900 is broken and there is no dial tone for emergency situation. TV NOT WORKING CROOKED, FRIDGE DOES NOT OPEN, TOWELS ARE DIRTY. SINK IS DIRTY. WE HAVE TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY AT 5am as we cannot stand the condition of this property. We checked in around 11pm! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!”

”The staff were polite and helpful. However, the hotel did not have an accessible room with a waterside view. I booked two rooms, we had to call down to reception to have the rooms cleaned two days in a row. The entire hotel needed to be overhauled and renovated, it appeared very run down. I have family who resides in the area and I would not stay there again.”

Hot water took 20 minutes to warm the shower or reach kitchen sink. Rooms looked clean but, Found trash behind a dresser. Sticky spots on counters and in drawers next to bed. Ants in shower. Lights are led and strangely wired. Smell of a gas leak near EV chargers. All was brought to staff attention and included maintenance. No one could offer us any help beyond...

”This is a spectacular little boutique hotel in downtown Norfolk. The location is great for walking to the theater and the water district. There’s dining everywhere. The biggest bonus is the glass art museum that’s included with your stay.”

”The staff is great. They must have kept my notes from a prior stay, they put me in a corner room/ top floor which was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Bed linens impeccably clean. Interior of the room clean and well maintained. That said, cosmetically speaking, the property is showing signs of wear, which is to be expected, I suppose. ”They cancelled my reservation and didn’t even tell me. I traveled across the country to find out at 11pm my room was cancelled. Absolutely ridiculous!!”
