”Bar closed early (9pm). Over 1/2 hour wait for dinner seating. Beach closed due to lake water level. Carpet in room needed more vacuum cleaning. Bathroom ceiling water stained. Front desk did not know if there were lake tours. Housekeeping didn’t make up room and ran out of towels.
Park view meant parking lot view.
Nicely redone pool, and lovely view of lake marina from restaurant and pool. Great blackout curtains. Quiet room. Water pressure and temperature were great. Friendly front...

”It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired.”
