While here, you'll find the perfect blend of seclusion and close proximity to a number of attractions everyone is sure to love. Whaleshead Beach is just across the highway, while Brookings proper is a brief eight-mile drive away. Outdoor enthusiasts will feel especially spoiled being so close to Arch Rock State Park, Azalea Park, and Chetco Point Park, all of which are within a 10-mile radius. Drive a little farther and you'll reach Alfred A. Loeb State Park, a locale known for myrtlewood trees, as well as fishing, swimming, and rafting on the Chetco River.

Back at your vacation home, you'll be greeted by a well-lit interior and a warm ambience. Unwind on the couch watching your favorite streaming service on TV or stroll to the full kitchen to make something as simple as a pot of coffee to entire meals. Indulge together at the dining table before heading out to the large furnished deck. Enjoy the breezy weather firsthand with your favorite drink in hand and appreciate the lush greenery around you. Come back inside to play some of the provided board games together before resting up for tomorrow's adventures!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Got to the place had garbage at the front door no heat besides a little space heater had to drive back into town to purchase another one. No working oven. Very poorly represented on the website.

This was truly a lovely cabin, with a great location. There was plenty of room in the living room area and kitchen. The cleanliness of the cabin was a bit lacking though. There was dog hair everywhere, the floor, coal

The property needs some TLC a good deep clean outside & inside, entry doors do not open & close properly. The deck was not as described, needs cleaning and the furniture spruced up and some items replaced. On the surface the inside is clean, but the rugs are needing a good cleaning or replacing. There was only a comforter for the sofa bed and a lot pillows with no pillow cases. The queen bed was a good sleep, clean sheets, enough bedcovers. Plenty of dishes, glassware and utensils for 6. A good equipped kitchen. For coffee lovers, a full size coffee machine would be nice. Not our best experience. This cabin has potential but it does need attention and someone with an eye for detail.

Property was not maintained. 1st thing out of the truck and my small dog got sticky stickers stuck all over her face! the gates were hard to close, the deck was in poor shape. The deck furniture was not usable. brought kitchen chairs outside. no curtains or blinds on the slider and had to use the couch for 1 person to sleep. no propane! no heat 1st night and not able to make breakfast. no coffee pot :( I just couldn't believe it, for the price it was a rip off. Ive asked for a refund and they've just ghosted me. unbelievable.

Nice cabin, clean, comfy, and well stocked kitchen. We had one small glitch with the oven, but that was made right for us. Great area to enjoy the coast off 101.

Small hot water heater in bathroom, five minutes of hot water. Reached out on app, told to try other taps. Oven didn't work. Sliding glass door unlocked on arrival, broken gate. Cobwebs and spiders, dead flies in sills. Broken blinds. Keurig coffeemaker not pot.Linens musty smelling

will not stay at this place again

My arrival to the property was late (11p). I was not given the correct code for the key box. There was no one on the property that was available, and I had to drive back into town to call customer service as there is no service at this resort. It was a fiasco. The place was clean. However, if you have more than one person who needs to shower it doesn't work because the hot water ran out super fast with only a 10-15 gallon hot water tank. We used one of the BBQ's outside and it appeared it had not been cleaned in a quite a while. It was quite a disappointment considering the price I paid.
