”Auton sai parkkiin kadunvarteen suoraan hotellin eteen. Ystävällinen henkilökunta otti vastaan. Söin illalliseksi hampurilaisen ulkona ja ateria oli maittava. Hotelli oli hiljainen ja huoneeni oli halvimmasta päästä, wc ja suihku oli käytävällä. Olin niiden ainoa käyttäjä. Aamiainen kysyttiin etukäteen ja pöytään oli katettu huoneen numerolla paikka. Hotellin wifi oli tosi nopea verrattuna yleisesti tarjolla oleviin ilmaisiin verkkoihin. Hotellia vastapäätä on suklaatehdas, kannattaa vierailla.”

”Great stay for two night break on the coast to Coast trail. Staff was friendly and helpful. Friday nights are very loud with karaoke so be prepared! Food was good, but basic pub food. Breakfast had several choices and the avocado and poached egg was especially good. There's an awesome Indian restaurant called the mango tree just a few buildings down. Laundromat behind the Black Bull hotel which was very convenient. About 6 pounds to run the washer and one or two for the dryer. There's a tourist...

”Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...

”A lovely, well equipped cottage, ideal for 1-2 people, nicely tucked away in a village that has so much going on. Clean, comfortable and a lovely welcome basket from the owners. The small kitchen area has everything you need, the decor is lovely and the lighting is great. The woodburner is left ready to light, though I didn’t need it. There is lots of local information left by the owners, who are very friendly and welcoming.”
