Beautiful setting on the Snake River
The home was beautifully decorated, clean and well supplied. We sat out back enjoying the scenery and amazing birds. The pictures don’t do justice to the view! We highly recommend staying here.

Perfect stay
Love this place, we’ve stayed here a couple times when we go fishing at CJ Strike. The check in and out process is super easy, the house is always very clean, and a big parking area for a few trucks and a boat. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent stay at this property. It's very well appointed and equipped, but there are bugs. That's not being critical of the house, but the area has large bug hatches; it's just the location out in the boonies. Wi-Fi is weak and I do recommend that they upgrade the the bandwidth.

This is by far one of the best rental properties I have ever stayed in! It is spotlessly clean! Very comfortable--both the beds and the couches. Well stocked. Lots and lots of games for the kids or the whole family to play together! The location on the river, with a big back yard to take in the view, cannot be beat! It is also very private and peaceful out here! We have loved it! Would definitely stay here again if near the area!

Nice place. Glad for AC. Really hot when we were there. Upstairs shower needs fixed, barely dribbles water. Some of the doors stick, hard to shut. Very well stocked house.

The house was beautiful and very clean. The only negative thing was the WiFi didn’t work when connected to our devices. I was not able to use my laptop to work. I was also very shocked at how many insects, bugs were present. I know it’s on the river, we went to go to bed and the bed was covered and the walls etc. my husband got attacked by them and had one crawl in his ear. I went to sit in the yard and watch the stars with my daughter but couldn’t sit at all due to being attacked by bugs. The house itself beautiful.

Peaceful and beautiful paradise on the Snake River!!!!
It was so wonderful! It was very close to the Black Sands resort, where our nephew has a place. We are from Missouri and we were not sure what to expect. We absolutely loved it! In the mornings, we would look at the river and see the wildlife. We saw lots of birds and fish rising, and we saw three river, otters, playing and fishing. My husband just retired and it was the best. First week we could ever have imagined! So incredibly peaceful.!! The house was very clean and had everything we needed! We slept like a rock’s! Love it love it love it! We will definitely be back! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Frances

Snake River's natural beauty
A lovely property which delivers on all that is advertised. Check in was a breeze and the property manager responded very promptly to a question while we were onsite. The settling is lovely and we enjoyed three evenings of watching and listening to the birds, raptors and river life. The location is remote but we ate well locally and hit the tourist destinations as planned.

Close to CJ Strike Reservoir - Great view of the Snake River!!
Great location for a fishing trip to the CJ Strike area. It is a isolated area but the house fit our party of five great! The house was very accommodating and we would definitely rent again if we were in this part of Idaho! Great view of Snake River!! Need a hot tub outside! 😉

Perfect peaceful get away
Our family had a great visit in this clean, well supplied home. We enjoyed watching the different birds on the island, farmers farming, playing four square, flying kites and being on the water at the CJ Strike Reservoir. Plenty of space and well kept home. This was our second visit and we will be back!

Great little place off the beaten path.
Just stayed one night while passing through but it was just perfect for us. Very nice place and we slept great. Plenty of parking to fit our 4 trucks each pulling a trailer. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity presents itself.

Originally booked us for a group of friends but unfortunately when unable to attend due to a family conflict. I was told everything was perfect and it was a wonderful visit to the area. A Great Escape
Well besides the rental process of VBRO, it was great. It was far enough away from home to change up the scenery to cook Thanksgiving Dinner and spend a few days in the beautiful country, next to the Snake River.

This property is secluded and gives so much privacy. The views are amazing and also have so much wildlife. Very highly recommend bug spray. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit in the future.

This is my second time staying here (an entire month). In my previous review a year ago, I was mistaken about the owner not making this available for a vacation rental anymore. So, I was glad that this was available again when I needed it.

Perfect size home
I had no complaints. House is nice , spacious and clean. Property manager was responsive. I was not familiar with the area so I was aware the home was in a secluded location but I didnt realized until we got to the house that it was much more far than I thought from local grocery stores and town. However the 30 minutes scenic drive to Mountain Home was nice on good weather. I do lile that the house had windows everywhere and nice views of the river and mountains .
