The patio was littered with discarded boards, and the shower leaked. The housekeeping left dirty towels in the rooms, and there were even dead roaches on the floor. ”MAJOR miss that the website does not note that there is NO elevator available and it was third floor walk up! No mention on website that there are actually 2 separate hotel buildings and only one has an elevator. Room was clean. Housekeeping did not replenish courtesy toiletries. ”The room was great, except we should have asked for a room on the first floor, as the stairs left us out of breath. Checking in was a breeze, front desk staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The beach chairs and the ferry are at no charge to guests of the hotel, that was a nice surprise. They are renovating rooms and improving the amenities. The beach is perfect. Hotels here are mainly historic / small, which keeps with the island. With that said I loved staying at this hotel. The pool was down and no cushions but we were so busy exploring the island and beaches that it had no effect on our satisfaction. A great place to stay if you’re on the island.
