”The cottage is lovely and well maintained...very comfortable. The grounds are just beautiful from the organic gardens to walks on the long driveway. A bonus is that the location is very close to 81 so very easy on and off the highway. We hope to return in the Fall.”

”We spent 4 days at the house with my wife, mother-in-law, and daughters with their boyfriends. Everyone had a great time. House is very well stocked with everything we needed. We cooked every meal and never came up short on kitchen stuff. There's even a waffle maker. Lots of towels for the creek (and the kids used too many!). TV and wifi worked perfectly. No phone reception out there, but we didn't miss it. Owners were very helpful and gave us good directions to a put in for tubes. We spent...

”This place was clean, confortable and perfect for our group, and the owners were incredibly helpful and kind to us - they were even better than the place. Two very minor downsides - it's a bit of a drive into Lexington (about 6 miles, and a slow drive on country roads) where our activities were, and the high windows let in light earlier in the morning than we wanted to wake. But those were minor to us. We'd stay here again, without question.”

”The house and outside of the property were just perfect! The swings and hot tub were the high light of our stay ( be sure to check the tire swing for any nests, made that mistake and ended up being stung by a wasp….nest fell with me off the swing so we carefully moved it away from the swing) Inside was cozy and comfy. AC unit was a little hard to understand at first but it works like a gem! Will definitely be recommending and would totally stay again”

”What can I say other than, Magnifique! The cabin was beautifully furnished (sharp knives, fast internet, hot water, ample soap & linens) and a lover's oasis. The indoor fireplace and working hot tub w/ jets are the high selling points of the cabin. Wood interior throughout makes it feel warm and inviting. Kingsized bed is memory-foam soft.10 minutes from downtown Lexington, VA, you can easily get all essentials and cook up a fine meal. Cabin was clean, easy to locate, and worth returning to.”

”The cabin was a great location for a graduation at Roanoke College. The fully stocked kitchen helped us have meals at the cabin instead of eating out. Everything was as advertised! We plan to come back again!”
