”Our room had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and was spotlessly clean. There was a chouce if pillows, aircon and a fan. We didn't use either, just opened the window for fresh air. The shower was roomy and there was hot water. A lovely stay with freshly cooke meals..”

”I love this little pub - second time I’ve stayed here while passing through. The owners and staff are lovely, the food is nice, the rooms are comfortable, and the area is stunningly gorgeous - I’ve been on some great walks along the Dart River and the other way onto Dartmoor. It’d be a great place to stay for a walking trip. ”

”I felt priviledged to be able to spend 2 nights in the west wing of Dartington Hall. Amazing gardens, the Great Hall and a good restaurant, even a film theatre. The room was stylish and comfortable and bathroom and toilet (in the corridor) very clean and adequate.”

”Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”

”We have just returned from a fabulous long weekend at the Beach Hotel. I cannot recommend this small hotel more highly. The whole hotel was spotless, the rooms were warm, comfortable and welcoming as were the hosts. Breakfast was ample and fresh and served in a large breakfast area. We booked into a double room with a balcony and had a great view of the pier and the Paignton sea front. Parking was ample just at the side of the hotel. There was a customer comment book in the hotel but I wanted to...
