”The staff were very helpful and friendly and this made us feel welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and clean and is on a convenient location being close to the train station and city centre.”

”Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. ”

”The B&B Tim and Ken run is one of the best accommodation experiences I've had in Southern England. Stylishly and sensibly renovated rooms with Scandinavian decor, ensuite amenities included, in an intimate environment – meaning that you won't see people coming and going all the time. This is to say that the atmosphere is relaxed. The breakfast is superb with plenty of choices (I'd go for the homemade bagels). Your hosts will also go that extra mile for you. ”Very good evening meal, food was excellent with a reasonable choice of dishes, we had a sea view which was lovely with a little balcony. Hotel is quite tired, but comfortable and the staff are amazing and a superb location with plenty of parking which you have to pay extra for.”

”We had a wonderful stay. The room was perfect and loved wandering through the gardens and nearby walks despite the weather. Cosy evening by the fireplace, red wine and board games. The Christmas decorations were tasteful and festive. Fantastic team of staff and look forward to returning.”

”This was by far and away the Best Hotel that I and my brother in law plus wives have ever stayed in for a short break. The food including evening meals were of a quality seen on Masterchef. The staff were so professional and made every effort to make our stay memorable, nothing was too much trouble. No I am not related to the owners but Fantastic is how I would explain this experience.
