The three-bedroom home is surrounded by open countryside, providing a scenic spot for families and groups of friends. Bude is a vibrant destination with golden sandy beaches, a tidal sea pool, dramatic cliff-backed coastline and plenty of independent shops, cafes and restaurants to explore. The area is a firm favourite with surfers thanks to reliable waves and excellent surf schools, while walkers can join well-marked footpaths and bridleways that criss-cross the landscape and link up with breathtaking coastal routes. Nearby activities range from horse riding and cycling to golf. Further adventures await in Boscastle (13 miles) and Tintagel (17 miles), home to the Old Post Office, Tintagel Castle and Merlin’s Cave. With the A39 close by, exploring Cornwall and Devon is refreshingly straightforward.

Inside, the cottage is laid out on one level, with a welcoming open-plan living space where your group can relax and plan fun days out. A vaulted ceiling and huge windows create a roomy feel, and generous seating sets you up for laid-back evenings in front of the Smart TV with soundbar. The blue-tinged kitchen is well equipped for home cooking, featuring a breakfast bar with stools for perching with a cuppa in the afternoons. The dining area is perfect for leisurely breakfasts or post-beach dinners, with those excellent views always easily visible. When bedtime calls, three tastefully finished bedrooms await: a double with its own en-suite rainfall shower, plus two twin rooms that’ll work well for children. A contemporary family bathroom completes the space. Throughout the property, elegant wooden furniture and features create a homely and stylish appearance.

Step outside onto the private decking to soak up the evening sun, stretch out on the garden furniture or fire up the BBQ. Kids will love letting off steam on the shared lawn and play area. There is parking for 3 cars.
