You can hire a kayak, canoe or pedalo for a peaceful trip down historic Bude Canal or enjoy a stroll down the towpath. Scenic Castle Bude has a fascinating heritage museum, exhibitions, galleries and a cafe. For family fun, head for the Monster Slip and Slide water park and meet the donkeys at picture-postcard Clovelly (11.5 miles).
